One thing we all know about Ange Postecoglou is that he is always looking ahead to improve the Celtic team.

The boss himself has said that he is always looking two windows ahead as he tried to find ways to improve what he already has at the club.

That plan was never more apparent than when we watched the manager dump Giorgos Giakoumakis and Josip Juranovic and replace them with Oh and Alistair Johnstone.

The moves were so quick that the players were in before the old guard were moved on.

And journalist, Pete O’Rourke has laid out exciting plans for the summer for the Celtic fans.

Writing in Football Insider, O’Rourke revealed, “A new centre-back, central midfielder and striker is on Postecoglou’s shopping list, and the Celtic board have told him that his budget will be inflated should they secure qualification to the Champions League.

“Not only are Celtic looking to recruit reinforcements this summer, but the Glasgow club are also insistent that the trio of Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada and Jota are not for sale.

“Postecoglou sees the trio as key parts of his long-term vision at the club.”

Let’s hit it out from the beginning. There is absolutely no way Ange will let any of those three go unless there is an offer made that will make a material difference to the clubs financial situation.

And thankfully, we are in a position where we do not need to sell unless we want to.

Having £50m in the bank will do that to you.

So will having a well-run club with a manager at the helm that is hell-bent on bringing success.

Call yourself a true Celtic fan? How well do you know the European Cup winning season?
