Celtic absolutely blew Hearts out of the water on Saturday afternoon.
The afternoon kick-off could have meant the players feeling leggy after their exploits in the league late on Wednesday night but, my goodness, did they not just obliterate the Edinburgh side in the capital in the first couple of minutes.
We threatened within the first thirst seconds when Reo Hatate’s chance was just off target but in the second minute, Jota sent Kye Rowes to buy him a cup of coffee and crossed perfectly for Mooy to expertly slot home the opener into the roof of Zander Clarke’s net.
A goal of beauty.
But not as beautiful as Andy Halliday’s reaction to it captured on Viaplay:

Halliday is unpopular amongst the Celtic support for various reasons but in this fixture, the Hearts midfielder has form for taking his tackling to the extreme.
More notably the tackle on Callum McGregor last season that saw his escape a yellow when a red card should have been issued.
And on Saturday he wasn’t much better.
He was also lucky to get away with not conceding a penalty when the officials (surprise surprise) deemed his sliding challenge into Alistair Johnston perfectally legal even though he wiped him out at the edge of the box after the ball had been released.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed that as much as I did.
What do you mean enjoyed what? The goal of course.
