Promising Development As South Korean Ace Open To Move

|

News out of South Korea indicate that any potential move for striker, Cho Gue-Sung would be welcomed by the striker himself. The Ansan born striker who currently plays his football with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the South Korean K League, has swept to prominence after a strong showing at this years World Cup.

While some reports suggest there may be unrest with one of our main strikers Giorgios Giakoumakis, after contract talks broke down, this season there has been some criticism for both our strikers in terms of their quality of finishing. If this is the case, there may be some truth in the rumours that Ange Postecoglou is after the South Korean ace.

If this is the case, then any offer would appear to be welcomed by the striker himself. Reported on Football Scotland today it seems the player is keen for a move to this continent and is looking for a place to continue his growth as a professional.

“I haven’t heard anything about European clubs. However, as a player, I naturally have a dream to go out on the world stage and face world-class players. Entering the European stage has been a dream since I was young. I want to go to any place where I can improve my skills and grow.”

Certainly any player couldn’t help but notice the improvement and development of so many of the Celtic team under our boss and will likely few Celtic Park as a place for further development.
