Pundit offers worrying Celtic prediction for Rennes clash

|

The European action begins again this week as we get our Europa League group stage campaign up and running with a trip to France and Rennes.

The Ligue 1 side have started their league campaign well over the Channel but we have also started our domestic season in fine form and so this should be a good clash between two sides that are in decent nick.

For Charlie Nicholas, though, it is going to prove a disappointing night for the Bhoys and those travelling to France to watch them play.

With quotes from his Sky Sports prediction column, the former striker has got this worrying prediction to offer us:

“Celtic will be good on the counter-attack, but their reputation is always the same. They get scared when they travel away from home. They don’t know where to pitch their defence and whether to play a squeezing game or not,” he then goes on to claim that it’ll be 2-1 to the French side.

Certainly, this is not a result we want and it will be tough in France but I think that he is being a little bit harsh with what he’s had to say.

Let’s let our football do the talking on Thursday.
