According to reports in Ecuador, Manchester City have seen a bid rejected for reported Celtic target Jose Cifuentes in recent days.
The Hoops are not thought to have made a bid themselves yet – according to the Scottish Sun – but Neil Lennon has admitted that he is a player of interest as we enter the final few weeks of the transfer window.
Of course, the deadline for English clubs is August 8th and so they have less time to finish their business now, with that likely the reason behind this apparent move from City.
The Citizens, though, appear to have been unsuccessful with this salvo and now we’ll wait to see if they go back for him or whether the Hoops look to strike.
He’s a talented young South American footballer that could excited if he comes to Glasgow but, at the moment, it’s hard to tell exactly how this is going to all pan out.
