I never even knew this was a move that was on, never mind being off to become on again!

With all the chat that South Korean striker Cho gue-Sung could be the next addition to the Celtic squad, according to the Daily Record, Slovakian international striker, Ladislav Almasi, is a transfer move that is back ON should Ange fail to secure his number one target in gue-Sung.

Almasi is 23 years old and has, so far, this season banged in five goals in nine appearances for Banik Ostrava.

Last season he knocked in 16 goals in 34 appearances and made his international debut against Norway in a 2-0 against the Scandinavians. [Transfermarkt]

The report quotes a Slovakian journalist, Rudolf Ludvik who claims that should Celtic turn their attention to Almasi, £2.2m would be required to land the 6′ 4″ forward.

Interestingly, Postecoglou’s number one target, gue-Sung would cost Celtic £2m and even though French side Rennes and Turkish club Fenerbache are interested in the World Cup star, Celtic are widely regarded as the favourites to land him.

With the transfer window opening in less than five days time, the Celtic fans will be looking on excited to see what kind of player Ange Postecoglou can unearth as looks to strengthen the squad for the title push.
