According to Football Insider, Celtic feel as though that young forward Vakoun Bayo is their ‘plan b’ this season if we get into certain sticky situations in games.
The report suggests that the Hoops have been greatly impressed with the Ivorian’s ability in the air and though Odsonne Edouard is obviously the main man going forwards, it’s good to hear that we have a back-up option.
Indeed, the report would suggest that if we need to go more direct in games and get more balls in the box, we can do so by bringing on the January signing.
It sounds as though he is very dominant when the ball gets tossed up and though I like to see us getting it on the deck and spraying it about the park, there are few greater sights than a striker slamming home a header.
Whenever Bayo gets a chance, too, it sounds as though he could be the man to do that.
