Celtic will want to add to their side this summer but there will also be concern about key players leaving the club.
Such is the conditions that we work in, we’re often at risk of seeing some of our better players leaving as soon as they catch the eye and there has to be concern about Odsonne Edouard to an extent.
Indeed, according to LaLazioSiamoNoi – via The Laziali – Serie A side Lazio are interested in signing the powerful forward with a fee close to €20m being quoted.
That would be big money, of course, and be around double what we paid for him to sign permanently this summer but, ideally, we want to be adding strikers rather than letting them go.
I would say we’d undoubtedly be tempted to cash in for such a fee but at what point do we give up on these players at the cost of trying to challenge in Europe.
Hopefully we can hold firm if such a bid comes in.
