Celtic were disappointing earlier this week as we could do very little to hurt Valencia in the Europa League at Celtic Park.

The atmosphere was great and the light-show was impressive, but the players on the pitch and the performance just did not rise to it.

We must quickly bounce back, though, with the Bhoys in action tomorrow afternoon against Kilmarnock.

This is where it gets hard with us the only side left in Europe from Scotland, and we’ll have to dig in and respond.

Brendan Rodgers, though, has underlined what we need to do in order to beat Killie then.

He was quoted by the Daily Record as saying:

“[We’ve been]Unbeaten, defensively strong, we haven’t made many mistakes, and as a team, we have pressed the game very well. So we will need to be that at Kilmarnock.”

We’ll need to show all those attributes with Brendan referring to how we’ve been since the start of the second half of the season.

Indeed, that is what made the loss on Thursday so baffling, given how we have been playing in recent weeks.
