With only just over a week left of the transfer window remaining and with Celtic’s injury woes not looking to ease up any time soon, the fans will be wondering if Ange Postecoglou will be willing to dip his toe into the transfer market once more.

As Celtic are set to face a gruelling domestic schedule over the coming weeks, the likelihood of more injuries will strike the fear into the fans with the news that Callum McGregor is to miss the next six to eight weeks and no date set for the return of Kyogo Furuhashi.

So the prospect of more additions could be a reality as the pressure to win the title intensifies.

Celtic were linked with Peterborough attacker Siriki Dembele in the summer and it seems that he could be on his way out of The Posh as reports circulate [Football Insider] that a second bid from Bournemouth has been knocked by the League 1 side.

Vital Celtic reported back in May about the Hoops interest in him and at that time Peterborough owner, Barry Fry, claimed that he had already knocked back bids worth ‘millions’ for the services of the 25 year old.

Fast forward nine months later and Dembele is out of contract at the end of the season and is free to talk to other clubs.

Could this now be the time for Celtic to strike a deal with the forward and reunite him with his younger brother Karamoko who is also out of contract at the end of the season?

Could this be a move that persuades young Karamoko to extend his stay with the Hoops?

Surely it is worth asking the question?
