As reported this morning, it looks like Osaze Urhoghide will be moving to the Belgian Juliper League on loan as Ange Postecoglou looks to get some of Celtic’s young guns some much needed game time.

Urhoghide was signed for free from English side Sheffield Wednesday in the summer and has struggled to get some regular first team minutes under Ange Postecoglou, even after an impressive debut against Real Betis earlier in the season.

But Joe Crann, a journalist that specialises mainly on Sheffield Wednesday news has claimed an exclusive where he has revealed the reasons in his report in The Scotsman why the young Dutchman has chosen to go to De Krustboys, “It’s thought that the opportunity to play European football and also get some regular game time under his belt after a tough first season in Glasgow has played a big role in his decision on where to go, and Celtic will be keeping an eye on his progress in the coming months.”

When asked if he is now reporting on Celtic as well as the Sheffield club, the journalist replied:

It will be very interesting to see how Osaze performs not only in the Belgian league but also in Europe and it seems that this is a move that not only benefits Celtic, but the player as well.
