Celtic paid a fitting tribute to a contender for player of the season to mark Fraser Forster’s 32nd birthday with a stunning montage highlighting the giant stopper’s showreel for 2019/20.

“La Gran Muralla” has been an integral part of Neil Lennon’s side as the last line of the defence that has seen them drop points in just four games all season and continue their remarkable unbeaten run in domestic cup competition which now stands at 34 games.
Always the man for the big occasion, the on-loan keeper produced a series of impressive saves in both games against Lazio to seal an historic Europa League record and, of course, there was the 9th of December.
Forster almost single handedly – so to speak – kept Rangers at bay in the league cup final as the tenth domestic trophy in a row made its way back to Celtic Park, his penalty save against Alfredo Morelos the deciding factor in the match.
Hoops fans took to Twitter to congratulate the England international and, well, there was always only going to be one thing on their mind:

Celtic fans face an anxious wait now, not just for the season to be completed and for the title to be won but to see if the hierarchy put their money where their mouth is and pay whatever it takes to make Forster’s move permanent.
