Celtic v Hibernian proved to be a pretty good game for us as we won 2-0 against them but it certainly had its fair share of controversial moments too.
We seem to be at a real centre of refereeing outcry right now in this country and, to be fair, they hardly cover themselves in glory.
Indeed, Darnell Johnson was lucky to not seriously injure Emilio Izaguirre with his challenge on him and that certainly caused some real outrage among our fans – and fair enough too.
Johnson as looked to try and clarify things, though, and revealed that he and Izzy spoke after the game in what seems an amicable discussion:

This doesn’t excuse the challenge but at least it seems taken care of now and it’s good that our player has got away relatively injury free.
I don’t think Johnson is a dirty player but, after this, he could do with calming it down a bit.
