Celtic kept up their winning ways at the weekend as we put away a stubborn St. Johnstone side to maintain our form at the top of the league.
Things were starting to get a little worrying as the home side simply were not budging but we kept doing what we do and kept probing and eventually we found a breakthrough.
That’s going to happen a lot this season now as we go in search of 8-in-a-row and so hopefully we’ll be able to channel that performance as well as possible in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Lyon also won with former player Moussa Dembele in the side and he has revealed he would have stayed at the club had the French team not come calling:
Via Telefoot, he said:
“And I felt the determination of the leaders to bring me to the club, and that was decisive in my choice to come to Lyon. [For me] it was Lyon or I [would have] stayed at Celtic.”
He’s a good forward but I don’t see that we are particularly missing him – especially after the January window and the attacking signings we made.
