Celtic twitter is awash with breaking transfer news and stories and it seems as the window gets nearer, the activity in the rumour mill will be going into overdrive.
Trying to sort out the bona fide stories from the click bait is always difficult but it looks like here, we have a proper lead in the next addition to the Celtic squad.
With Daizen Maeda all but tied up (according to the Japanese press) there is still some uncertainty on whether or not Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi will be joining him in Paradise.
Japanese transfers go to guy, Dan Orlowitz, was addressing this last night in a twitter storm and claimed that Ideguchi’s club, Gamba Osaka, have already targeted a replacement for their midfield enforcer.
Separating this from Maeda thread:
Hochi reporting that Gamba Osaka aiming to sign Shonan Bellmare MF Mitsuki Saito (currently on loan to Rubin Kazan), describing him as a replacement for "Celtic-bound Yosuke Ideguchi."
Strong language but early yet.https://t.co/w2IGVhAyYX

Ideguchi has been the subject of Celtic speculation for a number of months now and although there has been nothing solid to confirm the interest, this is about as close as you can get to a move being announced without having the player pictured with the scarf above his head.
January is certainly going to be a very busy month for the Hoops as Ange looks to strengthen the squad for the title run in.
And it looks like this won’t be the last piece of business the Celtic gaffer will be completing this window.
