Twitter was awash with amazing transfer speculation last night.
In fact, can we call it speculation now that many, many news outlets are confirming the Daizen Maeda story to Celtic now?
Regardless, it does look like the Japanese international is on his way to Paradise so it looks like that is a story for later today.
The next rumour was originally broken by German media site Bild and shared by respected journalist Sacha Pisani on Twitter.
Celtic are reportedly interested Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Hannes Wolf.
The 22 year old Austrian is also on the radar of Rapid Wien and Trabzonspor as it looks like Wolf is one of SEVEN players on their way out of Borussia Park.
Having joined from RB Leipzig at the start of this season for £8m, the talented left winger has struggled to stake a claim in the side and has made just eight appearances for the club so far.
Valued at just £4.5m [Transfermarkt], it is unclear whether or not this would be a loan or permanent move but with the news that Maeda’s move is almost all but done, would Celtic be looking to another left sided player to their ranks?
Or would it spell the end of Mikey Johnston’s time at Celtic?
Regardless, it does seem like it is one that excites the Hoops fans.
