Celtic’s transfer business been ramping up over the course of the week with reports that the club are interested in signing Bodo Glimts Ola Solbakken and Hammarby left-back Mohanad Jeahze.

Competition for Greg Taylor has never been more evident when we witnessed a make shift back four during the Scottish Cup semi final when Josip Juranovic was subbed injured and Greg Taylor was also replaced.

Although no fault of theirs, Anthony Ralston at left back and Stephen Welsh on the right just didn’t work and the team struggled from then on in to eventually lose the tie.

So it seems Ange is moving quickly to at least solve that problem with a move for the Hammarby full back and the Swedish media have revealed the surprising fee it would take to land the Iraqi international.

According to the Expressen, fees in the region of fifteen to twenty million Krona have been quoted which equates to roughly £1.2-£1.6m using todays currency rates.

Like Juranovic, Postecoglou seems to be able to source international quality players without the need to break the bank which is quite something.

No doubt there will be many more rumours circulating over the coming weeks and the club will be linked to many more targets as the season draws to a close.

Let’s hope that Ange’s foray into the summer window will be successful as his last two.
