John Terry is leaving Aston Villa this summer at the end of his contract with them.
He was potentially going to stay if they had got promoted but it looks as though they’re going to have to start saving money now that Fulham pipped them to the Premier League.
Where could he be off to next, then? Certainly, a fair amount of our fans have been debating whether we should make a move for him.

Anyone who doesn’t think Ajer, Simonovic and Jack Hendry wouldn’t benefit from him in the squad hasn’t got a clue. It depends what he’s looking for, another payday? Something leading to coaching or to go out winning trophy’s with a run in Europe. I’d take him in a heartbeat

The Verdict
I’d would probably swerve him unless he took a big pay-cut.
There’s no way we should offer him a deal if he wants the money he was on at Villa.
If, however, he was willing to reduce those wages it might still be something worth looking in to.
His experience is second to none and he’s still got ability, though I doubt he’d play every game.
I don’t see it overall, though, as I don’t think he’d want to take such a pay-cut.
