Go back to last summer and you maybe remember we were on the brink of signing a young South African footballer.
The man in question, Rivaldo Coetzee, saw a fee agreed for him back in August and it looked as though we’d be getting him surrounded by a real air of excitement.
Things, of course, fell through thanks to him having a rare foot injury and, as per Celtic Bible, it looks as though that could now cost him his career:

Quite a few of our fans have reacted to this setback for the kid, then, so let’s take a look at what has been said on Twitter:

He was a good player, too. I was excited when the bid was accepted.

The Verdict
It’s sad to hear of any footballer that’s having to cut his career drastically short and it looks as though Coetzee is going to fall into that bracket.
A fair few of us were excited by the prospect of him joining and seeing what he could do but it now looks as though no-one will get that pleasure in the future.
Thoughts, Bhoys? Let me know!
