After all the fallout of Celtic dropping their first points since the 22nd December, the hysteria and seemingly glee, from the media and pundits is palpable.

And while Celtic fans do have the right to question recent performances in Europe and against Hibs, lets not forget the fact that the team scored and average of 3.25 goals per game in February in the league.

Not bad for a team underperforming.

We have had all manner of conspiracy theories thrown around from the team are too tired, no creativity on the bench etc etc etc……and it is becoming tedious.

Well, NOW it’s becoming tedious after listening to Barry Fergusons two bobs worth on The Go Radio Football Show.

Barry made a strange comment about Celtic’s training activities, “Yeah, with the amount of games that Celtic have got, three games in a week, and I don’t think you need to do much training.

“It’s about recovery. Now again, I watched Hibs and Celtic yesterday and the thing that jumped out at me was Celtic looked zapped of energy.

“And that’s one thing you would label with Postecoglou’s teams that they start really well. They’re really energetic for at least 60 or 70 minutes but have lost their spark.

“They’ve not got that. Maybe they are training too much. We don’t know what goes on in their training ground.

“But certainly it’s not the same Celtic that I’ve watched where does it is non stop waves of attack where the energy levels are sky high.

“They look to me that they have dropped considerably over the last couple of weeks and that’s a worrying thing for the Celtic fans.”

So what is it then Barry? Too much training even though  you admit that a) not a lot of training gets done because of the training schedule or b) You can’t be sure because you don’t know what’s going on in the training ground?

Celtic fans have complete faith in the manager. They believe in what he is doing.

He has, after all, took us to the top of the league and won silverware already.
