As quoted by the Scottish Sun, Kilmarnock man Rory McKenzie has suggested that, actually, what happened during the pitch invasion wasn’t that bad at all at the weekend.

The Bhoys in the away end at Killie on Sunday were sent into raptures by Scott Brown with his late goal meaning that we went eight points clear in the title race over Rangers.

Indeed, it was certainly a fine moment for us and fans were on the pitch enjoying themselves – with many connected with the hosts quick to condemn.

The media has also had a pop, too, but McKenzie should be listened to as well as his words paint a different picture.

He said:

“The few that come in, there was no malice in it at all, most of them that I saw were young kids.

“To be fair they had their phones out. I think they were just trying to get pictures, there was no badness.”

It’s the story that some don’t want you to hear and whilst we don’t condemn crowd trouble, there wasn’t much wrong with the celebration at the end of the game.

It was a key moment in the title race, I suppose everyone else has forgotten what that feels like in this country.
