With the news that  COVID could be set to put the Scottish game into an early break, the talk will turn soon enough to transfer moves.

As January’s window lurks less than two weeks away, the football silly season begins and speaking on Go Radio, journalist Mark Guidi was giving a run down of the expected transfers Celtic should be looking to make but also predicted an end to one young stars Hoops career, “I think if you were to give Ange Postecoglou a wishlist, I think that the left backs sorted out from Japan.

“That’s as good as done.  Probably looking at a centre half and a central defender, for sure.

“Perhaps a central midfielder because the likes of Soro have kinda disappeared. So I don’t think it is going to happen for him at the club.

“And another striker. They’ve only got Giakoumakis on the sidelines at the moment. I still think you’re probably looking for another one.

“So look, the signs are positive. It is very good. There’s no doubt Celtic will absolutely make a title race of it and may well become champions come May.”

Is Soro’s time up at Celtic? There is no doubt the young midfielder has a lot of improvements to make to improve his game but is it right to say it’s not going to happen for the 23 year old?

I suppose we will find out in ten days time.

The left back sorted is rubbish, the Japanese player is not I repeat not a left back, he has covered left back but that’s not his position and he is no better than what we have. This info is easy to get just listen to experts on Japanese football.

Soro careers has been at a stand still for 2 seasons gets booked for niggling fouls not bad tackles his passing hasn’t improved maybe trying to hard to make impression with odd game he got to play hard but time to go there is a player there

I think Starfelt looked horribly shakey on Sunday. He was absolutely awful, missed two absolute sitters, was mangled by the Hibs attack on several occasions and might have given a penalty in injury time. Not Celtic class, he needs to buck up or ship out. I thought he looked ok for a while, but in reality he’s an accident waiting to happen.
