The old Celtic was back in front of us at the weekend as the Bhoys roared back into life and into the title race.
Whilst Hearts were busy losing and giving up points in the table, we were at St. Johnstone reminding the rest of the country just why we’re champions.
Indeed, it was a performance of superlatives and James Forrest, in particular, caught the eye for obvious reasons.
His excellent performance has been underlined further, too, when you consider it’s been over 12 years since someone last hit a quartet of goals for us:
James Forrest is the first Celtic player to net four times in an away match since Maciej Zurawski in an 8-1 victory at Dunfermline in February 2006.

A player that has sometimes come in for criticism, he showed what he can do at the weekend whilst the stat itself is a bit surprising.
It’s not a regular thing for someone to hit four but, at the same time, we have handed out a lot of hammerings when it could have happened since.
Anyway, Forrest becomes the most recent to do it, and it’s just a shame we’re now on a break.
