What a cup final. What a day. What a player.

It will forever be known as the Kyogo final as the Japanese striker put Hibs to the sword with two stunning strikes.

Furuhashi was a serious doubt to start this game but what is apparent is how seriously Celtic need him in the big games.

A constant nuisance, Kyogo never gave the Hibs defenders a minute and he showed today, that when he gets a sniff, he will put the ball in the back of the net.

On the two occasions the Hibs defence switched off, Kyogo put them to the sword with two goals out the top drawer.

And boy did he enjoy them.

His celebrations on both goals showed the whole of the Celtic support just how much he loves playing for the club and the fans really have a connection with their Japanese boy.

And this stunning video shows Kyogo celebrating with the fans holding the cup as they belted out You’ll Never Walk Alone.

Goosebumps. Did you feel them? I did and it was superb.

These are the types of moments that will keep a player of his stature at the club for years to come.

And not only that, if Kyogo’s countrymen that have been linked with the club witness those scenes, how could they NOT sign for the club?

A bridge too far they came to Hampden in the semi but my god in the final they just couldn’t beat Celtic and our darling Japanese BHOY KYOGO as the man says a star is born most exciting player since Hendrick
