My God this close season is brutal.

Three days into June and there has been no movement on the transfer front at all by the club.

Couple with international week, this is going to be a very long month in terms of Celtic news and transfers.

Bring back the real fitbaw!

Anyway, in terms of Jota, what on earth is going on?

With rumours that the club could be baulking at sealing a deal with Benfica due to their apparent demand for a 30% sell on clause, former Scotland manager Alex McLeish believes the Hoops should just get the deal done regardless.

Speaking to Football Insider, McLeish said, “I think give them it. I think it’s a no brainer.

“He has been outstanding for them and very instrumental in them winning that league.

“Why not do a deal? it’s a kind of safe way to get him sign on the dotted line. I would say definitely Celtic should do some kind of deal.”

This is the thing. Celtic are no stranger to these kinds of deals. We had similar clauses in Edouard and Frimpongs contracts so I don’t think the club will be too bothered about singing off on a huge sell on clause.

Do I think the deal will eventually get done? Looking at the amount of speculation surrounding the move, all the signs are pointing to a yes.

Here’s hoping it’s just a matter of time…….

Ange and Celtic don’t need advice from a washed up management failure. None of his business.

A total tossers opinion makes your headline. Any real news????

      Hi “Dr”,

Thanks for reading. I report on all things Celtic whether fans agree with what pundits or ex players say about the club.

As for “real news”, we do try to bring you everything Celtic related as up to date as we can. We, along with you, are frustrated at the lack of news coming from the club. But I would rather prefer that than leaked teams and all the other nonsense that last season brought us. Don’t you?

Sorry I hadn’t realised that the transfer window had opened!!
With Ange in Greece and Jota on holiday there isn’t any need to panic, once the window is open I bet we announce Jota & CCV.
    Everyone needs to calm down
