Middlesbrough supporters seem keen on signing Celtic star Scott Sinclair this summer after he was linked with a move to the club earlier this week.
The Scottish Sun reported that the English Championship promotion hopefuls were interested in a £2m deal for the Hoops winger after his impressive three seasons in the Scottish top-flight.
Sinclair has scored 60 goals and assisted 34 times since joining the club in 2016, a significant attacking contribution that won’t be easily replaced in the Celtic team.
With the club recently pulling the trigger on a one-year extension clause in his contract, the 30-year-old is now due to stay at Celtic Park until the end of next season.
Boro are nonetheless apparently interested and given he has plenty of Premier League and second-tier experience ticks plenty of boxes for them.
