Does that headline sound harsh? I don’t think it does.

Because to be a part of Ange’s side you must have the passion and drive to work hard and battle for everything.

Ange’s ‘We Never Stop’ mantra has been getting drummed into our players from the day the manager walked into the building.

It is evident in training but, most importantly, it is evident on the pitch on match day.

And when you have that work ethic drilled into you, you must be willing to fight for every ball and be prepared to be fought for every ball.

Looking at what on-loan striker Albian Ajeti says in an interview at Sturm Graz, it seems that, maybe, the Swiss striker just doesn’t have what it takes to make it in Ange’s Celtic.

Speaking to the club website, Ajeti said when asked how different playing in Austria is compared to Scotland, “I have to say honestly, comparing the league with Scotland and Switzerland is not easy.

“The progress that the Austrian league has made in recent years has been noticed by many in Europe – especially of course the many teams that play internationally and do so successfully.

“Compared to Switzerland, where quality has been somewhat lost in the last few years, I have to say that Austria has a better league with more quality.

“And unlike Scotland, the league is not quite as aggressive, in Scotland it is even more physical and much stronger in the duels.

“Here in Austria, it goes back and forth faster and that’s good for football and for us strikers anyway.”

It’s the last line in that answer that gives it away for me.

To me, it looks like Ajeti is saying he doesn’t like the physicality of our game.

But having said that, after scoring just three goals in fifteen games, maybe it’s time to realise that it’s not the physicality of the game that’s the problem.

Who am I? – Can you guess this Celtic legend from the clues given?

Well surprise surprise he doesn’t like getting kicked all over the park with career threatening tackles that will be waved on by corrupt scared referees
