Celtic fans are excited about the club potentially signing Timothy Weah early this week, after reports he is set to imminently arrive at the club on a loan deal.
Sky Sports report that the loan will only be until the end of the current season, although many fans are holding out hope there may be an option for him to stay another season beyond that, similar to the deals for Patrick Roberts and Daniel Arzani.
He may not have much first-team experience, but having broken into a mega talented Paris Saint-Germain team and also winning senior caps with the United States national team, there are signs he has what it takes to excel at Scottish Premiership level.
Son of footballing legend George, it’s about as high profile a loan signing we could expect to make this transfer window and he will provide immediate cover for Odsonne Edouard, who has been left carrying the Hoops attack on his own.
That’s left supporters excited about his arrival, even if there is no chance of signing up the teenager on a permanent basis.

Think he’s in to try and make a difference in europe, europa league i think you start him on the wing and edouard up top. He could well find it hard domestically with the difference in the type of football but in europe is where he could excel.
