Look, I get it, I agree that pyros have no business being anywhere near a football ground.

They are dangerous and toxic and it won’t be long before someone is really hurt by them.

A young Celtic supporter did obtain an injury in the last Glasgow Derby and by all accounts, it was a minor one, but it is just a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt.

Alan Hutton has called for a ban on supporters that carry pyro into football stadiums which is all well and good but I’ll get to that later.

Speaking in Football Insider, Hutton said, “I think they should and I think they will [ban supporters].

“It has been a problem in stadiums, especially down south with things getting thrown and flares and you need to cut it out. There comes a stage where you need to say enough is enough we need to ban supporters.

“At the end of the day that’s the club that that person loves, it’s probably the harshest penalty you can give somebody. So you have to reflect on what they’ve [Premier League] done and see how it works.

“You just want to go and enjoy it, there’s families now that go to the football, there’s kids going, all sorts of different people so you want to feel safe when you’re in those environments so they have to do something.”

Did I hear Hutton call for a ban when his own club’s fans used pyro’s at the Scottish Cup Final against Hearts?

Or when they were setting them alight in Europe?

Nothing. Not a peep.

So whilst his intentions seem honourable, it is no coincidence that Hutton is calling for a ban after the Green Brigade incident.

If you are going to call it out, call it all out. Not just when it suits.

It’s the dreaded international break. So take away the boredom and try our *BRAND NEW* quiz. Who are Celtic’s most capped players from these countries?

As usual Celtic are an easy target for these bast**ds..Every game last season in Europe the Huns had flares all over the place and Hutton never opened his hun gob once…Not once..Yes they should be banned but It must be every club not just ours…

  • Incorporation says:

Whilst Hutton may, or may not, have commented on pyro at “The Rangers” games is really irrelevant. Now that he is on on record regarding pyro, he can be held to account. Start asking questions.

That p***k Hunnon never said fuck all about the glassing of our teams physio or the broken bottles lobbed at Joe harts goal ….
