As Celtic make progress into the group stages of the Europa League, all attention will now turn to the Glasgow Derby this coming Sunday.

All preparations for Celtic continue as normal but with the club possibly sweating over the fitness of Kyogo Furuhashi and Greg Taylor, Ange Postecoglou does have some food for thought to chew on.

Across the other side of the city, Steven Gerrard has bigger issues to deal with with the current COVID crisis engulfing the club.

The lack of information coming out of the Ibrox club is probably more disturbing as fans and the Celtic manager guess who they will face come Sunday noon.

Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, former Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday, made a startling revelation that could hint towards who will be affected most by the COVID rules in Ibrox.

A caller raised the point that he is worried about the lack of information from the club when Halliday blurted out, “I’ll answer the question with facts. I am still personal friends with Rangers players that are not double vaccinated”

Halliday signed for the club in 2015 and left in 2017.

It will take a quick 15 min search through the squads of those seasons to garner an idea at who could allegedly be affected by the crisis at Ibrox.

Of course, all of this wouldn’t be necessary if the Govan side were just up front about it instead of all the cloak and dagger tit bits of information.

And Gary McAllister’s interview yesterday. How uncomfortable did he look trying not to give anything away last during last nights Europa League pre match interview?

With just over 48 hours to the big kick off, there will be a lot of anticipation surrounding not only the match, but also the squad announcements.
