Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has been named the Scottish Premiership Player of the Month for March, as announced by the official Hoops website this morning.
Edouard has been in fantastic scoring form of late, netting five times and assisting twice in his last eight appearances.
His tally for the season now stands at 19 goals and 8 assists, looking certain to break the 20-goal barrier in his first season since making a record-breaking move from Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
Considering some of those goals have been absolutely crucial in delivering an eighth league title in a row it’s not a bad return at all and gives him great foundations to go on and make an even bigger contribution next season.
He wasn’t at his best yesterday at home to Livingston, missing two golden opportunities to score, but fans are nonetheless delighted with him right now and took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his March award…

Fantastic striker. Should play every single big game we have and never be subbed unless he’s injured. Such a big-game player.
