Celtic recorded a fine victory last night against Rosenborg as we took qualification into our own hands ahead of the final game of the group stage.
The Bhoys went to Norway knowing what they needed to do and they duly did it with a relatively comfortable performance.
Though it only ended 1-0 to the Hoops, it certainly was an evening where we looked pretty relaxed and really we should have had three or four goals and had the game won well before we did.
Thankfully, though, at the back we looked as solid as I have seen us in Europe for a long time and you have to credit Dedryck Boyata and Filip Benkovic for their performances at the back.
Of the pair, I thought it was Boyata who had the better of the displays, though, and it seems as though there was plenty of praise floating about for him last night.
Benkovic, though, does get deserved praise too even by these fans…
