It seems Celtic are still in the market to strengthen their back line even after the addition of Cameron Carter-Vickers.

The big American international finally signed on the dotted line a week today, in a move that, finally, delighted the Celtic fans.

With the permanent signing of Jota top of the supporters wish list, it seems that Ange Postecoglou has his eyes firmly set on Taylor Hardwood-Bellis.

The England u21 international captain has been attracting the attention of many clubs but according to Sky Sports Anthony Joseph, Celtic are extremely keen to land the young star.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Joseph said, “I think after getting Carter-Vickers, Celtic would like to add another centre-back, because I’d imagine they feel Jullien may leave, or may need to take time before he gets back to first-team level.

“Taylor Harwood-Bellis is someone who they’re closely monitoring.”

As Joseph states, there has been serious doubts cast on the future of French defender Christopher Jullien after his public outburst last month where he seemed to issue a ‘play me or lose me’ demand.

With a full two months left of the transfer window, there is plenty of time for Celtic to add more players to the squad but looking at Ange Postecoglou’s recent past, he does like to get players in early.
