According to the Daily Record, Celtic could look to sign Hatem Abd Elhamed this summer as they continue to strive to address their right-back shortage.
The Bhoys have seen Mikael Lustig, Cristian Gamboa and Jeremy Toljan all leave the club in one capacity or another this summer and that has left us with little to play with on the right.
Evidently, work needs to be done there, then, and the report suggests that Hatem Abd Elhamed could be available for around £1.5m this window.
Playing for Hapoel Beer Sheva, the defender has made one appearance for the Israeli international team and at the age of 28-years-old he still has a good few years left in him if he signed this summer.
On the flipside, though, it is, of course, a risk as he’s never played in this country nor as he played for the very highest of clubs so that is something to consider.
