The Daily Record had reported that Celtic were interested in Aidan Fitzpatrick – the young winger at Partick Thistle – but it looks as though we’re going to miss out on him.
A decent young attacking player, the Bhoys and Rangers have been linked with a move for him to sign for another Glasgow club but it looks as though he could well be going south of the border.
Indeed, according to the Norwich Evening News, the player is wanted by the Canaries and they are pushing to get a deal done with the report claiming they are set to sign him, though a deal isn’t quite agreed yet.
Indeed, the Yellows are also signing Archie Mair from Aberdeen so it is clear that they are trying to bring some of the better young talent in this country to Carrow Road this summer.
It’s always hard to compete with a Premier League side in the window, too, and it appears as though we’re going to miss out here.
