Of course we are but any information on the progress of Carter-Vickers and a permanent move to Celtic is important right?
The big American was asked about his future and if he see’s it being at Celtic after this summer during the title celebrations by Sky Sports [via Football London] and the answer was telling, “I’m just enjoying today at the moment. We’ll see.”
“It’s hard to sum up. It’s been a special season and this is a special day for all the boys, our families, all the fans. We’re loving every minute.
“Mathematically we were champions on Wednesday but we’ve come out today in front of our fans and put on a show because they’ve been great for us all season.
“I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.
“From day one I’ve come in and the boys have been great, the manager was great with me and I’ve been loving every minute.”
Remember when you were a child and your parents used to say that to you?
It’s not a yes but it’s also not a no?
This is one of those times.
Carter-Vickers must be the longest drawn out potential transfer in Celtic’s most recent history, our very own ‘Eddie Howe’ moment.
Let’s hope it’s not as disappointing. (Yes, I know how that sounds but you get the drift.)
