No doubt Kenny, but the only problem with your ‘battle cry’ is so will Rangers. And they will drop more.

Whilst Celtic are relentless and will drop the odd points against other teams in the league, our rivals will find it even tougher to maintain the chase as Ange also looks to add to the squad in January.

Speaking on the BBC Sportsound Scottish Premiership Report Card podcast, Miller said, “You have to throw in the injury situation, the lack of continuity of having big players available.

“This break is going to be big for Gio in relation to getting these guys back and really hit the ground running.

“Because the league is not over. It’s going to take an almighty effort to even get back into it.

“But if you can come back and start winning games of football consistently and our level of performance goes up, Celtic will drop points.

“They will have the draw against Livingston, the 0-0 when they go to Livingston or they’ll drop points when they play against a St Johnstone, a Hibs or a Hearts. At some point they will.

“And Rangers need to be winning games to capitalise on that and get back into it.

“But if they don’t improve then it’ll [the gap] only get bigger.”

Look at it this way. For Kenny’s plan to succeed, Celtic not only need to drop points, but we would also need to have a cataclysmic collapse and lose three games before the club across the city has any hope of catching us. Whilst, by the way, not dropping a single point themselves.

Better luck next time Kenny.

Oh and another thing! If we don’t sort out this var nonsense then we might just drop points, because we won’t keep pulling games out the fire. And the cheats will keep on giving them a leg up.

    BBC ,Rangers/sportsound….Their other employers.
