Celtic could be set to reap the rewards of a monster Moussa Dembele transfer this summer, according to Football Scotland.
The outlet say he has been linked with an enormous €50m move from Lyon to Atletico Madrid after an impressive debut season in Ligue 1.
The report states that Celtic could have as much as a 10% sell on windfall on the way after inserting the clause into Dembele’s move away from Celtic Park last summer.
That would result in the Hoops receiving around £4.3m from Dembele’s potential switch from France to Spain.
The former Hoops favourite has scored 18 goals and assisted six times since leaving Glasgow last summer, attracting the attention of top clubs all over Europe who are looking for the next striking sensation.
Still just 22 years of age, his potential is limitless and there’s no doubt he’ll be leaving Lyon for big money one day.
If reports are accurate, that will end up being a big benefit to Celtic.
