Charlie Nicholas always pops up somewhere eh?
When it came to the Dom McKay story, Nicholas jumped on it like a flash demanding answers from Dermot Desmond in a rather bizarre twitter rant, “A number of years ago @CelticFC owner Dermott Desmond called me, when I was at Sky and told me to tow the line… So Dermott, you have my number, why don’t you pick up the phone and explain to me what is going? I am all ears!”

Considering the Parkhead power man doesn’t really speak to anyone, this demand was quite something. He then followed it up a day later with a shameless plug for a new podcast, Where’s Jeff?, where he said he as still waiting on a call from Desmond and they should try and get him to guest on the show:
What about Dermot Desmond as I am still waiting on his call? @Wheres_Jeff https://t.co/6HaIVSY6Rk

Last night he turned his scatter gun on a former Celtic player who has done more for the club than the Sky pundit ever has, Stan Petrov.
Petrov is loved by the Hoops support and will always be remembered for his part in the incredible 2003 UEFA Cup run which took Celtic to Seville for the final.
Nicholas took to twitter to ask, “Why is Stiliyan Petrov doing the @CelticFC game?? He knows nothing about this new hoops team! They need to get someone who is in the know with Celtic nowadays, who can give good insight on this team.”

The answer was in his stupid question and considering Petrov is a regular pundit on Celtic TV, his bitter wee tweet just shows you how out of touch Charlie Nicholas is with his former club.
And surely Charlie wasn’t inferring he should have been the guest presenter was he? When did he last attend or commentate on a Celtic match?
Head to the twitter comments to find out how the Celtic fans reacted.
