This seems like a never ending story when it comes to Celtic’s transfer ‘business’.
The constant updates over Jota have now taken over from where Cameron Carter-Vickers left off and now we have Alexandro Bernabei.
The Argentine left back is now the new hot topic at the club and it seems that the club are ahead in making moves to tie him up.
But are they really is it just more newspaper conjecture?
According to reports [Daily Record] the players club have spoken out about the speculation and it seems they are in no rush to sell.
A representative from Lanus said, “If a suitable proposition arrives, we will study it.
“But at this moment, we aren’t not required to sell Alexandro.”
But his agent gave a more optimistic update.
It seems interest in the player is genuine and although no specific club was mentioned, the agents have revealed that clubs have been asking about his availability, “We expect news in the next few weeks but Alexandro is calm.
“He has the ability to play and be successful in Europe.
“Now is not the time to discuss names but clubs are asking about him.”
With Celtic, apparently, not meeting the asking the price, it seems there may be still a way to go before a deal is reached between the two clubs.
