We all know that Celtic are in the hunt for Alexandro Bernabei.
Many column inches have been written on the subject of the Argentine left back joining the club.
But what is the inside track on the move?
Journalist Seba Ongarelli took to Twitter to update the fans with this announcement yesterday afternoon:
Bernabei will be part of the squad announcement for tomorrows game.
He’s not injured as many has said but it’s not likely to play tomorrow.
“No comments about that” says #Lanus board. Time… negotiations between Europe and SA is always difficult! #Celtic https://t.co/TiY9PD9eHt

But just how good is the player? Have we seen anything of note to suggest that he could oust Greg Taylor or will be his back up?
Take a look at this snippet and decide for yourself:

Reliable journalist Anthony Joseph is the usual go to guy when it comes to Celtic’s transfer business and in his latest update he said, “Celtic are in advanced talks with Dundee United keeper Benjamin Siegrist.
“They’re also continuing their pursuit of Lanus left-back Alexandro Bernabei.
“The clubs have so far failed to agree on a valuation for the 21-year-old.
“Lanus said to be wanting around £4m.”
No doubt the weekend will bring fresh speculation as well as well the usual updates from the Scottish media, but looking at Ongarelli’s timeline if Celtic do manage to pull this signing off, it does look like we are getting a very special player.
