Italian outlet alfredopedulla has delivered an update Timothy Castagne that may be of interest to us.
The Bhoys have been linked with the right-back with Mikael Lustig getting towards the end of his career with the club.
Indeed, he’s certainly struggled at times this year and it does need an upgrade in that area.
Castagne, though, seems only available on a permanent deal from the Italian club with them not wanting to let him leave on just a loan.
The player is apparently linked with Swansea as well and so it seems as though he is in demand, though any exit for him from the Serie A club seems some way off.
The Bhoys do need a new right-back, though, so it’ll be interesting to see if we are going to stump up the cash for a player with quality that might cost a little bit.
We’ll soon see whether we do it.
