The last thing we need to see is some more young prospects leave the club.

Last season, under Neil Lennon, we all had to sit back and watch how the likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich poached some of our best young talent and it is not difficult to see why they left.

With first team opportunities limited under the former Celtic gaffer, the only way to get a hint of opportunity was to leave the club and, lets face it, if the money of Man City and Bayern Munich come calling, it is very difficult to knock back.

Now it seems that history is repeating itself as reports [The Daily Record] emerge that a raft of clubs look set to move for Celtic duo Ben Doak and Mitchell Frame.

Doak is said to be the target of English Premier League giants Liverpool.

Still to sign a professional deal with the Parkhead club, it seems that Liverpool smell blood and are keen to make their move.

Young Mitchell Frame is also attracting attention from EPL clubs Newcastle United, Brighton and Crystal Palace as the talented young left back seems to be impressing the scouts.

At just 15 years old, Frame has represented Scotland at u17 level and seems to have a bright future in the game.

Let’s hope Celtic can convince the two of them to extend their stay at Parkhead and continue their development under Ange Postecoglou.
