The ‘Family Final’. That’s what they call it whenever any of the Glasgow clubs don’t make a major cup final isn’t it?

To be honest, it’s just the media’s way to have another dig at the club as it tries to peddle the nonsense Old F*rm garbage to keep the myth alive that Rangers are still the same club.

But of course, as we have witnessed over the last few weeks, they are not but they still have the same fans.

Trashing two tributes to the late Ron Gordon, these are the same people that were up in arms when clubs all over the country protested against the monarchy but they somehow managed to make it a Celtic issue.

As did the pathetic Scottish media.

But there was one comment that summed up the feeling towards that club and it’s fans and it wished for Celtic to appear in the final with one of the other two semi finalists.

As printed by The Hotline, this fans let his feelings known about the draw:

“Genuine football supporters will be hoping that it’s a Celtic v Falkirk or Inverness final for the sake of Scottish football’s reputation across the world.

“Everyone wants to enjoy a final where families can mix and have a great day out without having to listen to the non-stop racist anti-Irish sectarian singing which shames Scotland worldwide.

“Even the majority of decent Rangers supporters are sick of listening to such bile week in and week out.”

And after the events of the last few weeks, I can only concur with that statement.

We have, of course, certain songs in our songbook that need to be eradicated too, but we also have a variety of brilliant anthems to choose from which helps add to the flavour and colour of the occasion.

Let’s hope that the team can give this fan exactly what he wants.

Who were Celtic’s most expensive transfers these seasons?
