“Gone by Christmas they said” – Celtic fans react as Bet365 Ange tweet goes viral

Many pundits, news outlets and media stations looked at the Ange Postecoglou signing as a major mistake.

With the club facing its biggest overhaul and rebuild in many a year, the level of scrutiny levied at a man that no one had any knowledge of was a disgrace.

Right from the get go, Postecoglou was put under the microscope. Spoken to like an idiot and pretty much treated like a footballing outsider.

But if proper homework was done, like many of the Celtic fan media did before the first press conference including this site, straight away you could see this guy has something about him.

And it was at that point the fans rallied round the manager.

As soon as the press hounding’s started and the fans saw how Postecoglou didn’t take any of their nonsense, those fans that weren’t already, were right behind the gaffer.
