The international break comes with a whole host of problems for clubs. Significantly for us, it can interrupt solid runs of form, and that’s exactly what it’s done to Brendan Rodgers and his men. We’d been doing very well, yet now the Hoops are to be apart for a couple of weeks whilst representing their counties, and that will undoubtedly have an impact on team cohesion.
That’s not the only consequence, though.
Injuries are also a very real concern during the break, and that’s exactly what’s happened to one of our boys this week. Scotland confirmed on Twitter on Friday that Kieran Tierney has left the squad, indicating that perhaps the defender has picked up an injury.

Of course, it’s good news that he’s returning back to Celtic, as that gives him enough time to get fit again, but there is always the concern that it’s something more serious.
Celtic fans have been reacting to the news online, and a few topics have come up, including discussion on the Scotland manager. Take a look at what they’ve had to say below…

The way MacLeish threw Leigh Griffiths , who to me is Scotland’s best striker by far, under the bus is really coming back to bite AM on the butt, looks like the players are showing unity and backing wee Leigh on this
