Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has again been linked with a move away from the club, with The Daily Mail reporting he is the favourite to succeed under pressure Leicester City boss Claude Puel.
Given his enormous success at the Hoops over the last few years, it’s no surprise to see Rodgers’ name linked with jobs in the English Premier League but the prospect of him leaving Celtic high and dry mid-season are slim at best.
Puel is thought to be just a few bad results away from a potential Foxes exit, with fans turning against him in recent matches after a series of poor results.
The worrying aspect of The Mail‘s report is that journalist Stephen McGowan has good connections at Celtic and he reckons that Leicester could wait until the end of the season to make their move for Rodgers, making the rumour much more credible.
Fans though aren’t exactly pulling their hair out, believing that the whole thing is simply paper talk.
These supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on it all…

Brendan Rodgers to Leicester reports are jumping the gun a bit.
He may go in the summer, or next summer or the next, but he wouldn't leave Celtic mid-season with things precarious at the top of the table.
Might say a lot that when/if Leicester sack Puel they appoint caretaker.

Not a mission Rodgers would take the Leicester job… That's a tough gig for an unattached manager to take never mind one who's happy where he is.
Could be a good shout to get a wager on "the field" against him if you can get decent odds.
