Last weekend was a great opening to the new season.

The Champions rounded off a brilliant day with a 2-0 win over Aberdeen to see us sit proudly at the top of the league once again.

Coupled with the impressive TIFO display, last Sunday was a good start to the defence of the title.

Ange Postecoglou, although pleased with the three points, wasn’t particularly impressed with the manner the team went about winning them.

Publicly calling out Jota as one of the main culprits for our wastefulness in front of goal, I think that was the first time we have ever seen that side of the manager in regards to criticising the team.

So do we expect to see wholesale changes in the starting lineup against Ross County this afternoon?

I don’t think so if I’m honest. Apart from the injury to Reo Hatate, I think Ange will largely go with the starting lineup from last Sunday.

What we will see though, is a change in the team’s mentality.

That’s according to Hugh Keevins anyway.

Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Keevins said, “I think back to last weekend.

“I saw an uncharacteristic scowl on Ange Postecoglou’s face.

“He was not totally enamoured with Celtics display [against Aberdeen].

“I expect to see Celtic tighten up in all areas at Dingwall tomorrow.”

I would assume that with tightening up, Keevins means the attacking intent in the final third.

Defensively, the team was fine bar a scare in the second half when Aberdeen could have equalised so maybe we will see a more direct assault on the Ross County goal rather than trying to ‘walk’ the ball into the back of the net.

If that’s the case, I hoping to see more goals this afternoon and stretch not only our lead at the top (assuming our rivals drop points) but our goal difference too.
