I love big John. He’s about as honest as they come when it comes to his punditry.

He calls it how it is and doesn’t really care how others see it.

And he’s proved that over the years with his appearances on The Go Radio Football Show.

This site has covered many of the topics Hartson has spoken about.

Whether it was about Neil Lennon when he told the audience that the former Celtic boss wasn’t his ‘best buddy‘, to his prediction that he thought Jota and CCV will ‘be desperate to stay at Celtic‘.

Hartson has covered them all. They are all searchable in our

Well, here is another amazing assessment that will leave our rival’s fans even more worried. Especially after witnessing their team get mauled 4-0 at Celtic Park on Saturday.

Hartson said on Go Radio after the match, “I think they [Celtic] can play better than that.

“Rangers haven’t put a glove on them. I thought the first 20 minutes they started okay, Rangers, they tried to close Celtic down high up the pitch.

“They won a few loose balls. But then the goal has set them back..

“You know what these games are like if you get the first goal, particularly away from home, the home crowd gets up. It becomes tougher for the opposition.

“I just felt that Celtic can actually play a lot better. I think they were a little bit wasteful once or twice in front of goal.

“I think the players sort of dropped off the level in the second half, naturally, because they were three nil up the game was dead and buried.”

You know what? I agree with John. They can play better than that.

Just as they did in February, the team took their foot off the gas after the first half was over and the worrying thing for the Rangers fans is, they still never put a glove on us when that happened.
