What a turn of events this is!

Not only are our biggest rivals managerless, but they are also in so much disarray that by the time we face them in January, the league will be all but over.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has finally been let go by the Ibrox club after a pitiful European campaign saw the former Europa League finalists being labelled as the Worst Champions League Team in the history of the competition.

A disastrous campaign that not only saw them lose 7-1 to Liverpool at home, but only score one solitary goal in the whole competition.

But not only that, since Gio took over from Steven Gerrard in November of last year, the Dutchman oversaw a seven-point swing in the Championship as Celtic took the top spot in February after teaching his side a footballing lesson in the 3-0 Glasgow Derby win at Celtic Park.

So who is going to take over at Ibrox? What manager worth his salt will put his reputation on the line to take on Ange Postecoglou’s men?

According to Betfair via Talksport, a former Celtic legend could be the very man to help topple the Australian gaffer.

Neil Lennon is 33/1 to take over the Ibrox hot seat behind the likes of the usual suspects of Steven Gerrard, Sean Dyche and Michael Beale.

I mean who would be stupid enough to be putting money on that kind of appointment anyway.

I think it would be hilarious if, over the next few days, he became a favourite for the job.

It will never happen but the meltdown would be something to see.
